Cheers and welcome to Sonia's Whimsy!  I'm thrilled you came to check out my shop and the creations I have to offer!

Sonia's Whimsy is a dream come true.  My husband and I are empty-nesters.  I wanted to do something fun now that I have a wee bit of extra time on my hands.  I've always had an interest in crafting and sewing, and a love of beautiful, out-of the ordinary fabrics. 

I started making gifts for family and friends after I got my first sewing machine.  I wanted to share my creations with others, and that's when Sonia's Whimsy was born.

COVID put my business on a long hiatus, but I'm back in business with all my favorites and some new items. I decided to branch out and make other fun gifts.

My padded wine gift carriers are the most popular. They hold a standard 750 ml bottle of wine. The bags have a light thermal padding to keep bottles cool and protected. Each bag has a coordinating lining and a cork interior bottom. Perfect for birthdays, housewarmings, weddings, bridal showers, girlfriend celebrations, clients, and the list goes on.  Make it two gifts in one.
