First Show of the Year

Hi Everyone,

So I have my first show of the year under my belt.  It was a 2 day show at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL.  It was a great time and I met some wonderful new vendors and customers.

This was a show for which I had much anxiety.  Just a couple weeks before the show, I had wrist surgery and it prevented and limited me from creating my fun products.  On the other hand, I managed to incorporate some new items into the Whimsy brand - namely the fun and elegant table runners and popular funky, conversation piece padded sunglasses holder.  The latter was a real challenge post-surgery, but I plan on creating more as I raid my stash of fabric.

I'm going to be limiting my craft show participation this year because of time restraints, but plan on a show or two before summer gets into full swing.  After that, it'll be a crazy busy time in the fall getting ready for the holidays and I have several show planned the last quarter of the year.  Yes, I'm already planning for the fall and winter holidays
